My grandmother was an artist and always encouraged her grandchildren to come into her studio and use the real brushes and paint. From childhood I have loved sketching. In college I began to explore Prophetic Art and listening to the Holy Spirit when creating my art. I branched out into dog paintings as a hobby for friends and family, but
My grandmother was an artist and always encouraged her grandchildren to come into her studio and use the real brushes and paint. From childhood I have loved sketching. In college I began to explore Prophetic Art and listening to the Holy Spirit when creating my art. I branched out into dog paintings as a hobby for friends and family, but found that it was very satisfying to paint these beloved pets.

My favorite mediums to paint with are acrylic and watercolor. I do the majority of my paintings in acrylic, especially dog paintings. Watercolors help me to stay loose and be more free as I paint. I do children's book illustrations in watercolors. My prophetic art can be done in either medium. I also do graphic design online for books.

I enjoy hiking with my family, gardening, singing and reading. A lot of my paintings are inspired by things in nature, flowers, birds, landscapes. Most often though, I find inspiration as a Christian when I pray and ask Holy Spirit to guide me in what and how I should paint whether it's for a dog painting, prophetic art, or any project th
