About Meagan Hemingson
Meagan Hemingson is an artist in the midwest. Meagan was introduced to painting through the influence of her grandmother who herself was an artist. Meagan's grandmother encouraged all of her grandchildren to come into her studio and paint with real brushes and paint. She was an artistic mentor for Meagan until her passing.
During college, Meagan began to pray to ask God what she should paint and would look in the Christian Bible for inspiration. This style of "painting with God" is typically known as Prophetic Art. For the past 8 years Meagan has been doing Prophetic Art live during worship at her local church.
Whether she is doing Children's Book Illustrations, Dog Portraits, Graphic Design, or other forms of artwork she is praying and hoping that people encounter God through her art.
My Vision
Above all else I want people to encounter God and help people to feel His love and care for them through my artwork. Painting subjects that were originally created by God (nature, people, animals, and the like) capture my passion the most.
